I recently graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Marti College of Art and Design with a degree in Interior Design. While there I was an active board member of the student American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) chapters and participated in several design competitions as well as non-profit work providing beautiful spaces for those battling cancer.
Prior to pursuing my design career, I held several roles in the corporate world. However, in 1999, I knew it was time to serve my country and I enlisted in the US Army where I served as military Intelligence NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer). I have been deployed all over the U.S. for training and have served overseas in locations including Bosnia, Kuwait, and Iraq and am a proud combat veteran. After the military, I worked for the government for another six years before finally deciding it was time for me to follow my other dream...Design.
I look forward to helping my clients create a space that is their own, mixing new pieces with those they cherish so that each space tells a unique story.
I live in Westlake with my son. We love spending time outdoors, reading and traveling to New England - our favorites being Boston and Maine. There's nothing like good lobster, great family, friends and a little whale watching.
